Stories Written for Jamie

Jamie's time on this earth was precious and to everyone that knew her, didn't seem to be nearly long enough. She battled Cystic Fibrosis her entire life with most people not ever knowing she had an illness. She lived life to the fullest, everyday. Jamie passed away to go to the gates of heaven 5 days after her 26th Bday. Her entire life she had time frames given for her life expectancy and lived a lot longer than any of her doctors would have hoped or expected. She was such a fighter and she has made her mark on this world that will never leave.

The coolest thing that I had experienced from the funeral, besides all the people who were there to bid farewell to our friend. I think there were over 300 people that had attended.
In the funeral recession, on the way to the burial. I remember being at the 4 way stop on the corner of SE 5th and McKinley. Traffic was so heavy coming from every direction. Traffic was stopped and the recession headed on, I felt the peace and in that space of time I felt like the world had stopped for her. Strangest feeling I think I have ever had but it brings tears to my eyes thinking about it. She deserved to have that MOMENT in time.
